Alternatives to Botox & Fillers for the #11 wrinkles between the eyebrows

Have you heard of the term in the beauty industry of "11's"?  The official medical term for this is called nasoglabellar furrows. The term refers to the area on your forehead between the eyebrows that produces two side by side furrows, when people frown or scowl. After years and years, the furrows can become permanent. The furrows can develop in rather young adults who scowl a lot. And of course, this can be concerning to the young adult.
Not everyone gets "11's". Some people have a "1" or part of a "1".  Some other individuals get one hundred eleven --"111" --three furrows.  And the extreme scowler will hit the one thousand, one hundred eleven mark---"1111"--with four furrows between the brows!
There are injection treatments of the furrows, like Botox and Fillers.  I am not going to give you all the possible complications of such options, because if you read on every rare complication, no one would ever do it.  I am surprised how readily people say they are going to get a Botox injection.  The main complications are pain, bleeding, bruising, redness, swelling, and tenderness.  Injected fillers can ball up in one area, leaving a bump under the skin.  So if you plan on doing these options, go to a Board Certified provider and make sure he/she reviews all the complications, and lets you know how long the injection will last.  Most of the complications can be addressed, but be an informed consumer.
I have never gotten a Botox injection or any fillers, so I cannot give you personal experience on it.  But I can give you the alternatives that I use, developed by Doctors Rodan and Fields, Stanford trained cosmetic dermatologists.
First, there is the basic anti-aging skin care regimen, called REDEFINE, that battles aging.  Used with consistency, it battles fine wrinkles and sagging skin.  It can definitely be a good base to treat the 11's.
But patients want more for these stubborn wrinkles. The Doctors noticed in their own practice, that although many came for injections, just as many patients declined an injection cosmetic treatment...."no way, Doc."  The Doctors came up with putting a filler in a patch form that can be worn on the skin. Many of the patients who declined an injection, agreed to a patch that can be worn at night. The name of this product is ACUTE CARE. It infuses hyaluronic acid directly into the skin, leading to a filling effect.  I review the product and its use in my blog on hyaluronic-acid-in-skincare-and-in-acute-care-patches-by-rodan-fields..
Another alternative to treating the 11's and one which I have personally been using with really good results is the use of a hydration serum. I use the most recently launched product from Rodan and Fields.  It is a 30% glycerin along with hyaluronic acid, which both act as as filler for deeper wrinkles. In several recent blogs I share my excitement on active-hydration-serum-by-dr-katie-rodan-dr-kathy-fields.html  and the research on the product with more-education-on-glycerin-in-active-hydration-serum-by-dr-tim-falla.html
I can truly say this product is the bomb.  i-love-ahs-active-hydration-serum-by-doctors-rodan-fields.html Why not give it a try?
