I was in Toronto for a Primary Care Medical Conference, but I did have time to enjoy walking around the Yorkville section of Toronto. It has been equated to the ritzy Park Avenue section of NYC if you are looking for a description. Wow, what an area to visit......it has much fine and upscale shopping. I did a lot of window shopping and gazing, and I was very mesmerized by the very highly affluent shops.
One of the highlights of the week for me was visiting the Chihuly exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum. The glass art was incredibly gorgeous, and I am so glad that our Maker has blessed individuals like Chihuly with the talent to produce such art forms.
I also found myself on the some side streets and little plaza areas. I met the nicest young lady at LK Nails on Bloor Street who gave me the prettiest "baby pink" pedicure, with a top sparkly coat of shimmer! On a different side street, I found the Sassafraz Restaurant. They were having a "glass of wine half off due to construction" deal, and I love a bargain, so I sat there and people watched for an hour on a very glorious sunny late afternoon. Other places we enjoyed dining in the evening include the 18th Floor of the Hyatt, Joso's(my fav), The Keg Restaurant & EVOO's.
The Yorkville area is full of all kinds of wellness, cosmetic, plastic surgery and skin/facial services, so that as a Rodan + Fields Consultant, I was feeling very overwhelmed by the competition. But then I thought about what extraordinary results that I have gotten with Rodan + Fields clinically proven products in the privacy of my own home. And I confirm today that I am sticking with Drs. Rodan + Fields, Stanford trained (cosmetic) dermatologists, who have products that are third party tested and clinically proven with highly excellent outcomes.
I am hoping to find a few new business partners in the Toronto areas and all over Canada to join my Team, but I feel like no matter what, I made some new friends in Canada on this trip! "Oh Canada", I sure do love you my Neighbors, My Friends! Peace!
Here is to Good Health and Much Happiness,
